Simon Beck per Thindown a Gressoney

Due giorni di shooting immersi nella neve nel vallone di Loo per seguire l’artista inglese Simon Beck mentre disegna sulla neve tra le montagne di Gressoney, Valle d’Aosta. Con la regia di Tommaso Deboni abbiamo utilizzato il drone DJI Inspire e la camera Sony FS 700 con ottiche Zeiss Cp2 stabilizzata con il DJI Ronin. E’ stato un bel test sia per la crew che per l’attrezzatura date le temperature che anche di giorno non scendevano sotto i – 15°; alcuni trucchetti sono stati necessari per tenere in temperatura le batterie dell’ Inspire1 che non decolla se le stesse non hanno almeno una temperatura di 12°. Un grazie particolare ad Ulrico Bieler che ci ha ospitato nella sua baita di Obre Loo.

Two days of shooting in the snow in the Loo Valley to follow the English artist Simon Beck while drawing on snow in the mountains of Gressoney, Valle d’Aosta. With the direction of Tommaso Deboni, we used the DJI Inspire drone and the Sony FS 700 with Zeiss Cp2 optics stabilized with DJI Ronin. It was a good test both for the crew and  the equipment given the temperatures that even during the day did not drop below  – 15 °; some tricks were needed to keep the Inspire1’s batteries warm: the drone doesn’t fly  if they do not have at least a 12 °.  Particular thanks to Ulrico Bieler who has hosted us in his hut of Obre Loo.
